5 months

today sonja drew is 5 months old. she weighs 14 lbs 9.5 oz. she truly is a delight. her smile seems to light up the room wherever we go. people can't help but to comment on how happy and smiley she is. she is so so sweet and such a joy to us. she is getting really wiggly and i forget that she can't be set down just anywhere now. she rolls from her stomach to her back and just today rolled from her back to her stomach. she loves to be talked to and engages us with all kinds of cooing sounds and laughter. nobody can make her smile and laugh quite like riley can. sonja adores her big sister and spends most of her day watching and listening as riley dances and chats the day away. sonja is a fairly good sleeper, although she wakes up about every 3 hours at night. since she's a tad on the smaller side, i'm happy to feed her through the night, especially since she's becoming more and more distracted with nursing during the day. her eyes are big and bright and very blue. her hair is a blondish red color and we are interested to see how it turns out in the next few years. sonja is the kind of baby that makes you want to have lots and lots of babies...she is so mellow and happy. happy 5 months to our sweet sonja.
